Oddly enough, this does not necessarily reflect just the buying power
of purportedly fundamentalist Christians. On the one hand, several
conservative denominations are theologically dubious about them
(though whether this theological position always gets through to the
average person in the pew is another question). On the other hand,
divining the future has always been popular, and so there is actually
a market among non-Christians.
Hopefully the Veggie Tales movie will provide a better impression of
the possibilities for quality from Christian filmmakers.
