Hi Bob,
I fully agree with your second paragraph.
But - sorry to contradict you - I (and probably others also) would have
a problem with your suggestion in the first paragraph. Whenever I am
away from home for a week or more, I have to unsubscribe the ASA list,
because my internet provider is not very tolerant of a large volume of
accumulated mail. But I should like to receive at least those mails
which concern me personally. With your suggestion, these would be lost!
Please tolerate the little inconvenience it may cause you if the direct
discussion partners (and, very seldom, a few selected others also) are
addressed personally, as well! Others have repeatedly mentioned the
simplicity of using the delete button.
