    Hello All

In a few days I must leave for a period of time. Since the number of
posts here are so large, it is wise to discontinue receiving them. I
will rejoin if time permits. In case I am unable, I wish to thank many
on the ASA list for useful information and insights.

I regret that my background does not give me much to offer in comparison
to most others on this list. However, someone has to be the learner or
there is nobody for the teachers to teach.

In the church I attend, the focus is on "pointing people to Jesus
Christ", building a community of believers, and leading a Christ
centered life of servanthood. Many of the posts have helped me in these
respects. My only regret is that we have not focused as much on the
Christian life as we might have.

If I am unable to return, I wish you well my brothers and sisters in
Christ. (But I may still return to haunt the list.)

    Sincerely

    Walt
