4000 Adam to Christ bunk

    I had time to do a little Bible chronology today. Can't say that it
    was really glamorous. But it yielded results.

    Here are my rough findings

    Kingdom divides ca 930BC
    Solomon temple building begins ca 967BC
    Exodus 480 years before this ca 1447BC

    And the bottom line was that I couldn't get Adam possibly any more
    recent than 4100BC. If you want to believe what the Bible says :-).

    It seems the more that I study, the more that I gain insight into the
    YEC craze. YEC is big and glamorous. Humble facts are easy to step
    on if you think no one is watching.
