    The latest science news update email from Nature reported on a study finding considerably different gene activity in human versus chimp brains but almost no difference in the other tissues studied. It noted that genetic variation (i.e., in the DNA sequences) among mammals is generally low and that differential gene expression may account for most of the differences within the class. Not exactly surprising to find the differences concentrated in the brain, but it's nice to actually have data.

    Science News had a recent article quite similar to the online article in favor of neurological analysis of "religious experiences". The print article might be more extensive than the online one (I did not read either thoroughly) and is probably available more permanently.
