Thanks to several who passed along comments & suggestions on the quantum
mechanics material on my web site. I've made a fairly major upgrade to it
since last week. Comments still in order, of course.
One of the neat set of links I added takes you to the pages of Physics
Today and an interchange between Mano Singham and several letter writers
(among them our own Moorad) on the general subject of what do you do when
you have a good student who understands all the good stuff you are
teaching (relativity, earth's age, etc) and tells you, at the end of the
course, that it was all very interesting but he/she still does not
believe it. Much food for thought in both Singham's original article and
in the dialog thereafter.
The links are identified on the quantum mechanics page.
The last link there is an article by the philosopher, Phil Dowe, on the
implications of QM for the relation between divine and natural causation.
