    The poor textbook examples of why we should believe in evolution are all pretty weak even if true but are just poor if not lousy science.

    This I do agree does not disprove evolution without God.

    One needs to be reminded that terrible arugements for a viewpoint have nothing whatsoever to do with it being true or false.

    But, what is perhaps the real message is that the usual little dittas we are suposed to accept as evidences are anything but.

    Again, were I to aruge for evolution, I would not want my case to rest on such frailties.
