Hello all,
I have been lurking for a while, reading many repetitive messages
looking for the wheat among the chaff.
I agree with Greg that the tone of many messages leaves a lot to
be desired. I also feel that many replies are better sent to the
person directly (is something valuable transmitted when a message
"I agree" is sent to the whole kit and caboodle?). Most of my time
with the ASA mailbox is spent deleting, but as I said, there is
definitely wheat among the chaff.
Yes, I have been dismissed as non-Christian when I presented non-
YEC views to my classes. I would like to think that the -
sometimes personal and caustic- messages that fly back and forth
are evidence of Christians trying to hold onto each others as
brothers in Christ.
I say brothers because the exchanges seem to be a peculiarly
male thing! And, of course: ;-) ;-) ;-)
