Not sure where, but I imagine that for some, the views expressed in it are
    Gospel.

I have come across those who see things like "the Sun is shrinking" or
the moon-dust argument as things we as Christians must believe (any
evidence brought against these can be rebutted with "we live by faith not
by sight" i.e. we believe this, and if anyone disproves it, we will still
    believe it *by faith*).

This raises the question in my mind- if Christians are required to believe
the Sun is shrinking, that the speed of light is decreasing etc. by faith,
then aren't those who produce arguments to show these things are true
living by sight rather than faith? It just seems with YECs that they're
not content with arguing for a young Earth, but have to add on all these
    extras to create a worldview.
