    Folks,

I thought Dembski and some other IDer's should be aware of the
discussion on Bill's essay so I passed on the information that the ASA
is talking about the essay. I think is more fruitful if Bill or a
proponent of ID responds. This is one group where communication is
    critical for ASA.

While they did spend some time and energy presenting their ideas at the
Annual meeting (two years ago??), I suspect they may not respond on this
forum. Some of them have been burned on the old evolution list (now
dominated by atheists) and I suspect they feel their energies are more
wisely spent on different forums. To their credit they are at least
active in engaging the academic community.

btw I am not ID but have empathy with some of their ideas (not TE
either) and think it is critical that there be more communication.
