Then why, Allen, is it so wrong for Christians to interpret the Genesis
account within current understandings of science? You seem to what to have
it both ways here. Interpret the scripture according to your current
understanding, but not allowing others to interpret under theirs. This seems
slightly hypocritical to do what you won't allow old-earthers to do.
