    Thanks for your comments on the SN1987A situation.

    I don't know whether you are aware but there is a list for Christians in astronomy run by Deborah Haarsma from Calvin College

    and the list is chr-astro@calvin.edu

    The list is pretty quiet, but inhabited by many believers in high places. I've gotten useful answers in under an hour. I'm sure that it could be useful for you to make professional contacts with other believers.
