    Glen,

When I drove to work this morning, the moon was in the West, close to the
horizon and reddish, but not blood red. When I drove home tonight, the moon
had just risen in the East and was not quite as red as this morning. I was
about to suggest that the moon turning to blood in Scotland is punishment
for you guys trying to pull all that oil out of the ground there, when I
noted that you mentioned the eclipse.

BTW, we have a "fringe" political party, the "Rhinoceros Party" in Canada
that runs candidates federally in some ridings. One of the planks in their
platform some years ago called for abolishing pumping oil out of the ground.
Reason: that oil is there to keep the earth moving smoothly on its axis and
if you withdraw the oil, the whole thing will grind to a halt. Another time
they wanted to abolish the environment because 1) it's too hard to keep
clean and 2) it takes up so much space.

Thought is was time for some levity.

    Chuck

The moon has just turned to blood over Scotland tonight. Is this a bad moon
rising? Is the world going to end? Is what many YECs have said about my fate
    coming true?

Oh, wait, its just an eclipse of the moon---never mind!
