I didn't see anyone respond to this. I have corresponded with Will for a few
years off and on. I like Will a lot even though we are vastly different in
metaphysical viewpoints. The last time I heard from him he chided me for
being wrong and unfair to an anti-evolutionist, Steve Meyer. Will was
correct. I apologized to Steve and life has gone on for all. At that time,
Will had a brain tumor. I told him that I would not treat him any
differently because he was sick and asked him if being sick with a disease
like that, which was life threatening, made him re-think his position. He
told me that he would chew me out if I treated him any differently and was
glad that I wasn't. He was adamant that he had no such thoughts and that
when he was dead he was dead and gone forever. I e-mailed him a couple of
times in 1999 but never got a reply. I don't know how he is and often think
of this kindly old gentleman who tried to convert me to atheism. Whatever
his status, I wish him well.
