Batching with the TAO is a b-tch sometimes.

The time code error messages probably have something to do with the transport over LANC and the TAO rather than software settings on the Xpress.

Try This: If the TAO works with a single clip, while NOT using Batch Digitize, my guess is that you need a New/different Eprom which is designed for versions including Xpress 2.2

I remember using a TAO box on a Media Composer with no problems what-so-ever during batch digitize, but hearing reports like yours when the same unit was used on an Xpress 2.1

After a "2.1 ready" rom was installed, there were no problems during batch digitize on either system.

Was that before you uprgaded to 2.2? Call TAO's tech support-- they are great and fully support their product.

     I am using the supplied
template and have been able to do so before. The system is Xpress 2.2 with
    OS 8.6.

While trying to batch I get this message. "Digitizing aborted due to
discontinuity in time code or because material is too complex."

I feel that this has to do with the time code itself. I have on the
digitize window 01;00;00. On the Canon XL1 the time code is 01:00: etc.. I
feel that I need to change the time code from the semi colon to the colon
but, I can not for the life of me remember how. Could someone please
    refresh my memory.

This is worth about 100 points!
