I'm with Jack. When presented with this situation (when trying to explain
ASA, e.g.) I usually just say "Christian scientists (small s science)."
That makes the distinction and doesn't take up a lot of time.

I suppose we could, but in the situation I find myself (trying to get the
course material covered), time does not permit this. In oral
presentations,
Capital letters cannot be distinguished from lower case letters (which may
be a good thing, come to think of it).
