Howard Hendricks opened his talk at the Promise Keepers conference in Washington D.C.
last year with a limerick that went something like this:

There once was a young man from Esser
Whose knowledge grew lesser and lesser
It at last grew so small
He knew nothing at all
So they made him a Seminary Professor.

(Hendricks is Professor Emeritus at Dallas Theological Seminary)
