Don,
The author of the book is Hugh Ross. Dr. Ross is an astrophysicist.
He received his Ph.D. from U. of Toronto and post-doc'ed at CIT. He now
runs an evangelical and apologetics ministry called 'Reasons to Believe'
and teaches at Simon Greenleaf U. You can get more info from the 'Reasons
to Believe' home page at;
http://www.reasons.org/reasons/
I found Dr. Ross' books enlightening. There are some points that
he and I don't agree on but he is nonetheless enjoyable and insightful.

In His service,
