When you move your mouse around
in the image at the top-left corner of
the page for An Introduction to the Areas
the image at the top-right should change.
 But what if nothing happens?

OPTION 1: AVOID IT
To see another "Intro to Areas" page,
which contains all the information in this page but
without graphics or javascript, use the all-text page.
And because this website is "built for speed" with
with a minimum of graphics and javascript,
you can view it without JavaScript,
although without it you'll miss a lot
of what is available in many websites.

OPTION 2: FIX IT
• If you have an extremely old browser
(like Netscape Navigator 2 or Internet Explorer 3),
you can download a free modern browser from
Mozilla/Firefox (for Mac or Windows)
or Opera (for Mac or Windows)
or Microsoft (for Windows)
• If you have a modern browser, maybe its "preferences"
are set so it does not automatically load images,
or its javascript-functions are turned off.

You can turn on JavaScript in your browser, as explained below.
Doing this will make your websurfing more interactive and fun,
with more to see and do in many websites.  How can you do it?

with Firefox (for Mac or Windows) or Safari (for Mac):
In the FIREFOX (or SAFARI) menu, click PREFERENCES;
then choose CONTENT (or in Safari choose SECURITY),
and check the "Enable JavaScript" box.

Internet Explorer (for Mac) is no longer available
from microsoft.com but if you still have this browser:

In the EDIT menu, click PREFERENCES;
then choose WEB CONTENT and check the "Enable Scripting" box.

Internet Explorer (for Windows):  So far, my attempts to find a way
to turn JavaScript on-and-off has led me to conclude that it cannot be
done, that Microsoft doesn't give you the choice;  if there is no choice,
it's set so you automatically have JS, so the areas-page should work.
