other creationists, you got it wrong, too.
Previous posts by Paul Lucas treated this subject very thoroughly. The 2nd
Law (SLOT for short) says that, in a CLOSED system where energy cannot enter
or leave, that entropy will increase. But life is not a closed system. The
larger system of the sun and earth does indeed increase in entropy, but that
increase allows a decrease in entropy in local systems. Consider: you started
out at conception as a single cell. Yet now you are a complex organism of
billions of specialized cells. Your entropy (disorder) has decreased
tremendously. If your formulation of SLOT were correct, then you couldn't be
here."
