    happened as you suggest. Most of us are satisfied with the realization that
     
    it was unlikely to have happened that way.

    In faith that is all very comforting but ID is proposed as a scientific
    alternative and therefor one would expect some efforts to achieve that status.
    Perhaps you're right, ID is on its way out as an attempt to achieve
    scientific status and is now used to support faith.
