    Back in the '50's when Dr. Rhine (sp?) invented ESP and his ESP cards
    with stars, triangles, etc became popular he claimed that ESP was
    substantiated because some people seemed to predict the next card more
    accurately than the statistical rate. When asked about the people who did
    worse than average, he said they had negative ESP. <G>
