The unbearable heaviness of non-materialism

This controversy is not about whether naturalism or non-naturalism is
"truth". It is about whether one or the other views should be imposed upon
society as "scientific truth". I doubt either view could be proved, but for
those willing to try, I say have at it. You do an excellent job of defining
the differences between the two views. I want the public to become aware of
these differences. I suspect the vast majority disagree with naturalism.
But, to tell the truth, if this "vast majority" ever exerts their power and
tries to impose some non-naturalistic view of reality upon society as
"truth", not to be challenged, I'd probably switch sides and join you in
promoting the legitimacy of naturalism.
