you mean Genesis will be rewritten in order to conform with observed
reality? I hadn't realized that was possible! I thought creationists were
busily trying to change reality to fit Genesis.

Bertvan: Hi Susan,
Some people considering design believe in a literal interpretation of
genesis, others don't.

The problem with literal design is plenty.

Bertvan: Everyone discussing the subject is sincerely looking for the truth.

In many cases of YEC'ism I doubt this, they are not interested in the truth, just their Truth. Anything else
has to give.

Bertvan: I doubt anyone, including you, have a monoply upon
truth. I really shouldn't say anything, for by this time I am sick of
Darwinists and their sarcasm. Darwinists' sarcasm is probably the greatest
public greatest public relations mechanism working against Darwinism. Just
one question: How many minds have you changed by sarcasm?

How many minds has YEC'ism changed by their "truth"? At least one, mine.
Darwinism will stand or fall on its own merrits, not on sarcasm. So far it is faring quite well.
