Fine, but it's based on a misinterpretation of what the authors of that paper
actually wrote. They were not critiquing the paradigm of the constancy of
the rate of mutation, therefore they do not support your conclusion. And
since your conclusion is based on incorrect information, it is therefore
erroneous. It is as simple as that.
