Based on 15+ years doing research with such people, plus being one such
person myself. Assuming the audience is not made up of creationists and/or
IDers, their reaction should be little different from mine: "What gall it
must take for someone with no training or experience in biology to stand up
there and tell me: 'You've been wrong all this time and I'm going to set
you straight.'" To paraphrase a neat simile I saw recently, hardcore
biologists are as easy to impress as the Borg.
