I spent much of my past life in Market Research for IBM -- I was often
referred to as a statistician specializing on poll pathology -- I could
not always tell you how to take a poll (though I did try, often) but I
could generally tell you what the poll died of! < G >
I was unaware of the NAS standards you cited. I think your comments were
right on.
