I second Glenn's remarks.
I have found, so far, that most folks here (and on other LISTSERVs) tend
to
respond in kind. If sneered at -- they sneer back.
I try to follow a maxim myself (I am not always successful, as an
incident
with Steve Jones showed a few months ago) to "cut some slack" for the
other fellow -- to not return "evil for evil," as the Good Book says.
Why do I do this? Well -- for one reason, it is a lot more challenge!
