I would like to know how these author's explain the stability of electrons
in their orbital shells without quantum theory, when the electrostatic
attraction of the protons for the electrons would pull the electrons into
the nucleus so fast that a "stable" atom could only last less than a second.

I also seem to remember a similar theory that states that protons were also
toroidal charges the same size as an electron, but with the opposite charge.
How would the author's explain the clear evidence (based on Millikin's oil
drop experiments) that the mass of the electron is about a million times
less than that of the proton?

I would also be interested to know how they explain the structure of the
neutron.
