Regarding Pim's rant:

>Sorry for the rant but as a scientist and Christian I was truely offended

This site does contain material that could be construed as offensive to
scientists and to thoughtful Christians. When browsing the net there is
always the risk of encountering offensive material of almost any type
(from neo-nazis to hard core pornography to filthy language to
pro-terrorist sites). If material that misrepresents science--put out by
some scientifically naive Christians causes a problem for Pim, who might
be easily offended by such things, then I might suggest the use of some
type of internet filter. :-)

>I wonder, how people can continue to (misrepre)present the 'evidence' and
>still consider themselves Christians ? ....

'Tis a mystery. I don't know how prosperity gospel preachers, some white
supremacists, and Bishop Spong can call themselves Christians either.
Apparently it is quite common for some Christians to mistake a
scientifically ignorant anti-evolutionary crusade for a defense of the
Gospel.
