Gary,

Thank you for responding. You say are 'very suspicious' of such matters.
Let me reassure you. The only casualties are likely to be our
preconceived notions of how God should and should not behave. In
general, man does not warm to the idea of Him being a Free Agent!
However, a little careful thought should convince us that He must be. If
He has chosen to proceed in this way - out of love for us, who are we to
dispute it?

Though I have little interest in speculations concerning the identity of
'the beast', I thank you for acquainting me with the calculations re
Bill Gates and WINDOWS95.

>From a strictly mathematical standpoint, 666 is an interesting number.
Thus, 666 coins of the same denomination may be laid out in close
formation on a flat surface to form a perfect equilateral triangle - 1
in row 1, 2 in row 2, 3 in row 3, and so on. The figure has 3 sides; 3
of the same coins can be expressed as a triangle - 1 in row 1, 2 in row
2. Each side of the large triangle comprises 36, or 6X6, coins; applying
the same principles, 36 will be found to be 'triangular' also. The
peripheral coins in the original triangle total 105; 105 too is
triangular. Finally, looking at the eye-catching denary representation
of the number, we find that both 6 and 66 are triangular.

Clearly, 666 is a most interesting object - even more interesting when
we sum its triangular attributes to find 6x6x6! Some other items of
interest: the current year is 1998. 1998 = 3x666 = the sum of the first
five words of the Hebrew Bible interpreted as numbers. Of course, all
these may be just remarkable coincidences. However, when one considers
the 'volume' of these, one begins to suspect an intelligent and
purposive hand behind them all.

May I respectfully suggest that you carefully study the evidence
provided at

before concluding that my thesis is bogus and/or irrelevant.
