Cliff Lundberg asks,

"Implying that macroevolution has occurred, but through processes
not currently operating? Is this view found in the newest creationist
literature?"

Answer: Yes, but with a semantic qualification. This version of episodic
interventionist creationism is, for strategic reasons, I suspect, presented
under the banner of "Intelligent Design." Although the leadership of this
movement has chosen not to acknowledge it in a candid and public statement,
the term "ID" has a twofold meaning: To be "intelligently designed" means
to be both 1) purposefully conceptualized AND 2) assembled (at least for
the first time) by the action of some (usually unidentified) extra-natural
agent.
