Just so you know during the discussions: nobody else uses these
definitions. Due to this, there is likely to be a great deal of
confusion when you talk to other people about these concepts.

If you'd like to understand what other people mean by the terms, just
ask, and I'm sure there are plenty of folks here who can tell you.
