Another way of defining micro/macro evolution (?)

Another way that can be used to defined evolutions is a follows.

MICROe = the shufling of the genome.

MACROe = addition (evo) or deletion (devo) of base pair(s) to the genome.

The former happens all the time but it is repair most of the time.

Has anybody observed the latter happned NATURALLY (without intelligent
intervention) in nature?
