JB <<This question came up when Russell opined that just as much "materialist"
evil had been corrected by materialism as Christianity had corrected Christian
evils.

RS <<No, actually it came up when pointed out that Christians have denounced
evil behavior on the part of other Christians. I then countered by pointing
out that many materialists (like Chomsky) have been equally active in
denouncing evil behavior.>>

Nice try, Russell, but you can't slip out of your untenable position by
re-writing the past. Your EXACT words were:

<<So my system has corrected its wrongs in the same way that your system has
corrected its wrongs.>>

"Corrected," not "denounced." You WANT to re-formulate the issue because all
you've come up with is a famous "denouncer," Chomsky. You can't come up with
an actual example of your "system" reforming evil.

If you want to retract your words, so be it. But don't pretend you never wrote
them.
