I have just received a copy of one of Phil Johnson's latest tapes
"The Grand Metaphysical Theory of Evolution". It is one of his
best.
The tape features a book review in New York Review of Books 9
January 1997 by Richard Lewontin of Carl Sagan's "Demon-Haunted
World". It is titled "Billions and billions of demons". Lewontin
claims that popularisers like Sagan and Dawkins have oversold
science. He also claims that Dawkins and E.O. Wilson have (from
memory) "counter-factual claims at the very heart of their
stories" Johnson comments that this is "only a millimetre away
from calling them liars"!
Does anyone know of a web-page or an email copy of Lewontin's
review?
