Actually, Loren, I don't think the analogy holds, though it might. Along
this line, I mean to ask Steven, someday, given the gedanken problem that
he and I can find employment only as plumbers (we are no longer needed as
scientists), if his argument (which you can unpack in his paper) would
proscribe me from being hired by him as a worker in this field. I think it
would.

I was very impressed by the gentleman; I think he was likewise pleased by
his acceptance among a crowd of (mostly) theists.
