Steve Gooch wrote back and asked me...

The first place to look is in scripture. My favorite is our Lord's
resurrection. This was observed and recorded by many, and to some they
form the basis of their faith. Some people today are supernaturally
healed in public in front of many people.
I don't have the cites but if one hangs around a church enough they can
usually pick up on one.
