Here is where the rubber meets the road. You say that you are willing to
allow Neanderthal to be a descendent of Adam. Since Neanderthals are first
found in strata around 230,000 years old at Erhingsdorf, Germany and
Pontnewydd, England, (Chris Stringer and Clive Gamble, In Search of the
Neanderthals, (New York: Thames and Hudson, 1993), p. 66) this would seem to
say that you are accepting Adam as being at or prior to that time? Would this
be correct?

It has long been known that Neanderthals and anatomically modern humans lived
in caves just down the road from each other in the Middle East. This
cohabitation seems to have taken place for something like 60,000 years.
