This post deals with Glenn's questions about technology transfer
or continuity through Noah's flood.

Glenn, these are all good questions and I would not be able to
answer any of them without spending a considerable amount of time
researching the information and learning the skills. Noah had 120
years according to the account in Genesis, from the first time
God told him that mankind would be destroyed from off the face of
the earth, build an ark to these specifications, etc., till the
time that everyone was actually in the ark, God closed the door,
and the rains started. I am sure that in those 120 years, Noah
realized the implications of the destruction of all but 8 members
of the human race. I believe he and/or his sons (or wife or
daughters-in-law) began to ask the same questions and then began
making provisions to aquire and preserve the technology that they
would need to rebuild civilization.

I think that in 120 years, with the help of a few good people,
that you or I could do the same thing with what we assume to be
the technology of Noah's pre-flood world. We could probably do a
fair job with much of today's technology if we had 120 years to
prepare for it but it would take considerably more people and a
lot more money.

just something to think about....
