Responding to Jim Bell (re his claims on whether oral tradition could be
passed down for 5 million years) I wrote

This makes it sound as though I am working from the hypothesis that Glenn's
scenario is not true. I have neither the expertise nor the evidence in
hand to accept it or reject it. What it does do admirably is fit the
geological evidence. Maybe it will fit new evidence of ancient hominids
someday, maybe it won't. But it makes testable predictions that ought to
be investigated. I should have written "Admittedly, finding such evidence
could be extremely difficult." [period. finis]
