I have purchased two copies - one for myself, and one as a present for my
brother, Keith, of whom I wrote about last Sunday.
One of the things I like about his work on the flood is that it clearly
exposes, in a scholarly way, the genuinely difficult issues Christian's
face in harmonizing the biblical flood account and current scientific
understandings. Along with Wayne Slattery, I have misgivings about some of
his conclusions. But I still find his book a valuable reference.
