I get the impression that there are a lot of folks that don't really
understand cladism (some of us think that cladist don't either). You
might be interested in taking a look at the thread cladism in a nutshell
that appears in the newsgroup (sci.bio.paleontology). Often it is hard
to understand what cladist are saying, but these posts are fairly
lucid.
