This is a good point. It may be that the judiciary will be having
second
thoughts after Ruse (under pressure from Laudan) admitted he had
"performed" before Judge Overton's court. Perhaps Phil is God's man
for the moment?

BTW, I am glad if there is some convergence. I did think Phil's
position
in DOT was a bit too too hard on TE and did not match his stated
position:

"I am a philosophical theist and a Christian. I believe that a God
exists
who could create out of nothing if He wanted to do so, but who might
have chosen to work through a natural evolutionary process instead."
(Johnson P.E., "Darwin on Trial", Second Edition, 1993, Inter Varsity
Press, Illinois, p14).
