Stephen,

It's not often I'm referred to as a peacemaker. Whether deserved or not,
it feels kind of good. Thanks.

You state:
"Indeed there is some convergence of thought here, and that is good. But I
suggest we keep trying to clarify our respective PC and TE positions,
because otherwise it will just crop up again in another guise."

Agreed. And let me suggest we be prepared for more of what you call
"convergence of thought." It might be more the rule than the exception.
Physicists, for awhile, had a hard time deciding whether light is particle
or wave, and found out, to their surprise, it is both. Similarly, much of
the PC and TE perspectives - even where they *appear* to contradict -
might *properly* describe the same (one and only) God. Our experience is
so limited in this area that our intuition can surely cause us to see
problems when none exists.

Perhaps some day some of us will describe ourselves as "PC *and* TE". I
feel confident that, if we ever get to this point, Howard V. can suggest a
suitable descriptive name. :-)

Good luck with your future efforts.

Gordie
