I'm highly skeptical of "prayer research" myself, but I might be able to
be convinced in some tightly constrained protocols.
David Matthews wrote THE FAITH FACTOR a few years ago -- my PERSPECTIVES
review is on the ASA site as well as on the link below. I thought it was
very well done, and discussed the likely limitations of such
experimentation very well.
