'Out of Gas'

Today's NY Times reviews a book by Cal Tech vice provost David Goodstein,
a physics, entitled "'Out of Gas': They're Not Making More." It sounds the
same pessimistic themes that Glenn Morton has written about in this list:
we are running out of oil, and this will profoundly affect our future.
