"I form the light and create darkness, I bring prosperity and create
disaster; I, the Lord, do all these things." Isaiah 45: 7.

Looks like you need to do a credentials check on Isaiah.

Obviously...the verse before refers to "sunrise" and "sunset," and we know
that those geocentrists can't be trusted.
As a loyal concordist, I could try to build my case that, in the original,
"created darkness.." was a participle clause, so that it COULD mean to "form
light" would result in "creating darkness." But then I would have to
defend the rest of the verse, with parallel construction, by use of "Zero
    Sum" economics.
So, instead, I will plead guilty of, once again, shooting from the lip.
    Good catch, Howard!
