For something I am considering writing, I am interested in the origin of the
term "creation science," which is of course just one of many terms with
overlapping meanings. Does anyone think they knew where/when this term was
first used? In what context? To mean, specifically, what?

Obviously this term did have a first instance of use, so it would be
interesting to uncover what/when that was, if possible. For example, the
word "Fundamentalist" (as vs "fundamentals", not the same word) was first
used in print in 1920, a well-known example.

I do not propose this as a topic for the listserve, I simply request that
anyone with a specific example--the earliest one they know of--contact me
    privately (tdavis@messiah.edu) with specific information.

    Many thanks,

    Ted Davis
