I thought that kind of silliness was long gone. But that's probably
because I have not encountered it myself -- even in the Southern Baptist
church where I was a member in the 70s.
The world is full, however, of "Christians" who draw the circle tight,
excluding many with whom they do not agree. I may draw my circle too
broad -- for I include other faith traditions -- but I'd rather err in
that direction.
